My musical satire Will You Be My Friend premieres as a radio play Sunday April 25th on Midtown Radio KW. My director Matt White of Green Light Arts has been working with me via video as we work through the recording. It’s been very interesting to revisit this show about the challenges of loving white people when they are unwittingly racist. Haha. Check it out.
Also extremely pleased to announce my longtime in the works album Ancestor Song, has successfully secured funding support from the Ontario Arts Council, so I can record it this summer. Stay tuned for that.
I continue to facilitate antiracism workshops for the University of Waterloo Equity Office. My first in-person outdoor gig of 2021 will be June 25th in Guelph, Ontario for the 2 Rivers Festival.
