Why do you make your art? How does your art interact with your community? What are the concrete skills an artist needs to make a living in this cultural ecology?
In this artist talk, Janice Jo Lee will share her journey in figuring out how to be a professional artist-activist after University.
Janice will lead you through the process of writing an artist statement, and figuring out your place in the arts ecology. We will also go over the business of being an artist including grants, incorporation, and touring.
